Job Summary:
This dual-role position is responsible for managing and handling all warehouse materials and inventory as a Material Handler.
Responsibilities:
Material Handling Duties:
Move all received materials to designated kit or warehouse locations—both physically and via system entry (Glovia).
Complete kits by pulling items listed on pick lists or BOMs; assign kit bay locations for storage.
Provide kits, raw, and consumable materials to production to support manufacturing.
Perform all necessary Glovia transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
Communicate any inventory or material issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior material handling experience desired.
Experience operating a 1-ton truck with a gooseneck trailer required.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferably Glovia).
Strong understanding of safety practices in warehouse and transportation settings.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift Operator Certificate required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Clean driving record required.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) highly preferred.
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures, loud noise, and heavy machinery.
Extended periods of standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and twisting.
PPE required, including welding helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.
Physical Requirements:
You must be able to lift and move heavy materials and packages.
Must be capable of securing loads and performing physical tasks associated with deliveries.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work:
There are two full-time positions, one in each shift:
1st Shift: Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
