Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel components, including:
Tube to Plate
Plate to Plate
Pipe to Plate
General structural steel components.
Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment proficiently.
Ensure proper setup of welding machines and tools before initiating work.
Maintain proper welding certifications and perform pressure testing on completed units.
Conduct welding repairs as needed while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to ensure welding accuracy.
Conduct visual inspections and pressure testing to confirm structural integrity.
Work closely with quality control personnel to address any defects or non-conformance issues.
Ensure compliance with ASME and other industry welding standards.
Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machinery.
Follow all company policies and adhere to safety programs, including PPE usage and hazard awareness.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent safety hazards.
Follow production schedules and report work progress to supervisors.
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and production teams to optimize welding processes.
Provide recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Prior ASME welding experience required.
Strong knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with welding carbon steel and stainless-steel materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Certification in welding or related metalworking field.
Experience working with heat exchangers or similar industrial equipment.
Familiarity with industry-standard safety and compliance regulations.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) throughout the workday.
Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, especially high temperatures when welding.
4/10 Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
30-minute lunch
2 15 minutes breaks
Manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures, loud noise, and heavy machinery.
Extended periods of standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and twisting.
PPE required, including welding helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.
