Braze copper tube and pipe to form the header on the heat exchanger.
Braze required copper fittings onto header.
Maintain proper torch and braze rod technique.
Maintain proper braze certification (ASME).
Pressure test units.
Must read and interpret instructions and diagrams (blueprints).
Follow schedule and report completions.
Follow company policies and safety programs.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience.
Ability to read work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Experience working with cooper tubing and pipe preferred.
Heat exchanger manufacturing preferred.
Possess strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of general ledger systems, financial chart of accounts, and company policies.

Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, (paint masks, respirator, when required) and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.
